In the first moto there was some good battles
going on through the pack. Cameron Dufault #9
and Davis Eames #80 were out in front in 1st and
2nd and put a good lead on the rest of the pack
but she couldn’t quite catch up enough to get
around him. In the first two laps Daniel Balzano
#5 caught up to and fought his way around Joey
Martin #17 to move into 5th. Also in those
first few laps Nicholas Kirby #12x passed his way
up past Kolton Gillilan #16 and Tyler Rich #919
to move up to 6th and kept on going to move up
and battle with Martin #17 side by side at
times. Then in the next lap Balzano #5 got
around Madison Farris #13x and then when Eames
#80 slowed down for some reason he started to
close the gap to get to her but not close enough
and Balzano stayed in 3rd. In those last few
laps Kirby12x did finally get around Martin #17
in that middle corner and then got past Farris
#13x by the end. They finished out with Dufault
#9 in 1st, Eames #80 in 2nd, Balzano #5 in 3rd,
Kirby #12x in 4th, Farris #13x in 5th, Martin #17
in 6th, Rich #919 in 7th, Gillilan #16 in 8th,
and Hall #99 in 9th.
In the second moto however once they got into
position in that first lap there wasn’t too much
change. Dufault #9 got out in front and stayed
there. Eames #80 passed her way up into 2nd and
held onto it. Behind her was Balzano #5 in 3rd,
Kirby #12x in 4th, Martin #17 in 5th, Farris #13x
in 6th, Gillilan #16in 7th, Rich #919 in 8th, and
Hall #99 in 9th.

NEATV/Round 1/Walden MX/Wallkill, NY/4.26.09
50 Limited
In the first moto of the first race of the new
season Cameron Default #9 took the hole shot
followed closely by Nicholas Kirby #12x and
Daniel Balzano #5. Unfortunately in that first
lap Balzano #5 broke down in the first corner
after the hole shot and it took him a little
while to get going again so he went from 2nd to
last. Also in that first lap Davis Eames #80 was
and Drake Jean #11 were able to pass a few people
and move up in position so that by the next lap
the order was Default #9 still hanging onto
first, Jean #11 in 2nd, Eames #80 in 3rd, Joey
Martin #17 in 4th, Kirby #12x in 5th, Kolton
Gillian #16 in 6th, Alex Martin #213 in 7th, and
Tyler Rich #919 in 8th. Most of the riders were
able to hold their positions though in that last
lap Balzano #5 was finally able to catch up to
the group and pass out Rich #919 while going over
the start finish jump for 8th place. And Default
#9 and Jean #11 were really close in that last
lap, actually side by side in the whoops
section. It looked like Jean was going to be
able to pass him but Default #9 was able to hold
on to finish in 1st leaving Jean #11 in 2nd,
Eames #80 in 3rd, Martin #17 in 4th, Gillilan #16
in 5th, followed by Martin #213, Balzano #5, and
Rich #919. Kirby #12x ended up with a DNF for
the first moto and DNS for the second moto.
In the second moto Rich #919 took the hole shot
but was soon passed by Jean #11 who held onto
first place throughout this moto. Our winner of
the first moto Default #9 didn’t get onto the
track until the second lap so he ended up playing
catch up with the rest of the pack. Eames #80
was able to move up into 2nd and held onto it
until she tried to jump the double and crashed
moving all the back in the last lap. Behind her
was J. Martin #17 in 3rd, Balzano #5 in 4th, A.
Martin #213 in 5th, Gillilan #16 in 6th, and Rich
#919 in 7th. With all the mishaps with our top
riders this moto finished out with Jean#11 in 1st
place, J. Martin #17 in 2nd, Balzano #5 in 3rd,
A. Martin #213 in 4th, Gillilan #16 in 5th,
followed by Rich #919, Eames #80 and Default #9

NEATV Youth Rally Around Round 2
50 Limited
The 50”s will run a shortened track at MX207.
Due to some light rain overnight the kid’s
classes were moved back in the lineup a bit to
allow the larger machines to “dry” the track out
a bit.
In Moto 1 Jake Jean #11 got the holeshot followed
by Joey Martin #17, Cameron Dufault #9, and Davis
Eames #80. Eames will pass Dufault shortly after
and Dufault will fall back significantly on the
first lap. Eames will then pass Martin just
before the split however; the two riders will get
tangled in the split. This will allow the lead –
Jake Jean to create quite a lead for himself.
The split is not a little rutted from the bigger
machines, making it a little more difficult for
these small machines to work their way through.
By the end of lap 1 Jean will hold the lead
followed by Kolton Gillilan #16, Nicholas Kirby
#12x, Daniel Balzano #5, Davis Eames #80, Joey
Martin #17, Tyler Rich #919, and Cameron Dufault
#9. Just after the finish line Balzano will pass
Kirby moving into third. Eames is now charging
her way to front and will pass both Kirby and
Balzano. At the end of the third lap Eames will
pass Gillilan and move into second. It would be
incredibly tough for Eames to catch Jean at this
point. While the other riders were getting
caught up he was holding steady in the front.
Jean will lap Dufault just before the finish line
on the fourth lap. Jean will take the checkered
flag followed by Eames, Gillilan, Kirby, Balzano,
Martin, Dufault, and Rich.
Moto 2 will bring Cameron Dufault #9 the holeshot
followed by Jean and Martin. Jean will pass
Dufault just before the split and take the lead.
Laps were cut to 3 in this moto. By the end of
lap one it will be Jean, Dufault, Eames, Kirby,
Martin, Gillilan, Balzano, and Rich. The riders
will stay in their positions all three laps,
except for Martin who will make a pass on Kirby
in the second lap. Jean will take the checkered
and the overall win for the day followed by
Dufault, Eames, Martin, Kirby, Gillilan, Balzano
and Rich.

NEATV - Jolly Roger Motorsports - Lempster, NH -
May 24
50 Limited
In the 50 limited class there were 8 riders in
total from all over New England and there were
thankfully no major issues in this class,
everyone finished the race. In the first moto
Cameron Dufault #9 took the hole shot and held
onto the lead throughout the race, actually
putting some distance between himself and the
rest of the pack. He was followed by Davis Eames
#80 who not only stayed in 2nd but by the end of
the moto was catching up to our leader. Behind
her was Joseph Martin #17, Jacob Jean #11, Kolton
Gillilan #16, Daniel Balzano #5, Nicholas Kirby
#12, and Tyler Rich #919. By the second lap
Balzano #5 had gotten around Gillilan #16 and
while they were on top of each other for awhile
he started to pull away by the last lap. In the
final lap Jean #11 got around Martin #17 for 3rd
place leaving Martin in 4th, Balzano in 5th, and
Kirby #12 got around Gillilan in that last lap to
finish in 6th with Gillilan in 7th, and Rich in
8th.
In the second moto Kirby #12 took the hole shot
followed by Gillilan #16 and Dufault #9.
However, Dufault soon got around Gillilan going
into the back to take 2nd and then Jean #11 moved
up and around Gillilan by the third lap and then
in the last lap Jean moved up past both Dufault
and Kirby to take over that 1st place position
leaving Dufault in 2nd and Kirby in 3rd (Gillilan
had fallen way behind at some point though not
sure what happened). Then Eames #80 pulled up
and around Kirby to take over that 3rd place
position going into the back section in that last
lap. Our leaders were side by side battling it
out in the last lap and it finished out with
Dufault finishing in 1st, Jean in 2nd, Eames in
3rd, Kirby in 4th, Balzano in 5th, Rich in 6th,
Martin in 7th, and Gillilan in 8th.

In the 50 Limited class Jake Jean took the win
aboard his #11 DRX with Joey Martin finishing in
second and Cameron Default, who claimed the moto
one win ended up with third. The 90 Auto Jr.
class saw Andy Cummings, who dominated the 90
